Ariel Djanikian born in Philadelphia attended the University of Pennsylvania. She also participated in an academic career at the University of Michigan. Besides her academic qualifications, she received diverse recognitions, for example, the Hopwood Award. She received popularity after the publication of her 2013 novel named The Office of Mercy. Her work also received fame when it became noticeable in The Millions, Glimmer Train and Paris Review Daily.
