Review and Summary of the Novel Armageddon’s Children

***Warning Spoilers Below This Point***

The story features a devastated world after the occurrence of a nuclear war. The world is flooded with demons and other monsters and with only a few humans left it became challenging to survive. The humans who live in the available forts are tightly controlled by the Government. There is a group of children named the Ghosts headed by a young multi-talented gypsy mutate named ‘’Hawk’’. He is a magical creature who is unaware of this hidden truth and always sees meaningful dreams in which he leads a large group of people while taking them to the land of their dreams.

He also meets the girl named Tessa from the compound. Later on, Hawk went away to bring the medical supplies and during this time, the group was attacked by a giant mutant who looked like a centipede. Fortunately, the mutant was killed by Sparrow and Cheney. Hawk visited Tessa and unfortunately was captured for breaking the law and sentenced to death. Logan could not save Tessa and Hawk and they were thrown from the compound in the end.

The story offers a cliffhanging ending and keeps the reader anxious while looking forward to reading the next book in the series. It presents a great plot, fascinating narrative and reasonable characterisation that seems to surprise the Terry Brookes fans. It describes a complex war between the good and the bad.
