Edward Bulwer Lytton, also known as Edward George Earle Lytton Bulwer-Lytton (1803–1873) became known as an exceptional English writer. Lytton also took part in differing political activities and adopted many roles during his career. His book Vril: The Power of The Coming Race (1871) contributed to an early approach of science fiction writing styles and approaches. One of his most famous quotes refers to “the pen is mightier than the sword”. Lytton studied at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he completed his BA Degree. He also became known for his love of poems.
