Ernst Jünger (1895–1998) a German soldier and entomologist became known as an exceptional novel writer. His book Heliopolis (fictional city) published in 1949 focuses on diverse philosophical ideas and fictional speculations. Jünger a rebellious figure joined the French Foreign Legion during the time and created an offence against his own country. He escaped from prosecution after his father attempt to assist him. Thereafter, he could join the German Army at the start of World War I. His rebellious past followed him, and during World War II elements in the regime regarded him as a Nazi sympathizer. He presented the literary world with significant contributions and discussions regarding the impact of materialism on society’s characteristics or approach to political agendas.
