James Smith Dashner (1972) received popularity as an American writer focused on speculative fiction. He received recognition after publishing a range of novels. Some books align with the dystopian environment inclusive of the Scorch Trials (2010) and Death Cure (2011). He received diverse acknowledgements of which one pertained to the Young Reader’s Choice Award in 2012. Dashner born in Austell, Georgia used his parent’s typewriter as a young child of 10 years old to start his writing capabilities. He attended school in Duluth High School and studied at Brigham Young University. His academic career focused on accounting.
