Matthew Tobin Anderson popularly known as M.T. Anderson (1968) received a reputation as an American writer. He focuses on children’s or young adult books and received the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature in 2006. Some of his popular novels include The Pox Party (2006), The Kingdom on the Waves (2008), Feed (2002) and Landscape with Invisible Hand (2017). Anderson started his educational career at St. Mark’s School and joined Harvard College, Syracuse and Cambridge Universities. He accepted career positions at Candlewick Press and became an instructor at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Anderson strives to teach young people to look at the world differently.
