The book revolves around the situation where a Muslim Political party consisted of Islamist and Patriarchal believes won the election and proposed the country’s Prime Minister with the help of another Socialist party in France Election 2022. It is about France becoming an Islamic state in 2022.
The novel begins with François who is a teacher at Sorbonne. The presidential election of 2022 takes place in France and two parties join the competition i.e. Marine Le Pen from National Front and Mohammed Ben Abbes from the Muslim Fraternity party. Mohammed Ben Abbes wins the election with the help of the socialist party in France. When he takes power, the women forcefully needed to observe ‘Pardah’.
The approach where men married more than one woman expanded to the European Union. The Government takes Saudi funding for the Educational sector and the teachers in Sorbonne may only receive support if they accept Islam as a Religion. François a teacher also suffered because of the Government’s partialism and awarded him an early retirement package. But the only grieve he experienced referred to the deprivation of the female students he had contact with.
The story depicts Francois as a lusty man and in a relationship with his Jewish girlfriend Myriam, the former university student who then leaves him for Israel. After his girlfriend left, François, to satisfy his lust, utilizes internet surfing to watch soft porn and to find escort services. In the end, this lusty man submits to Islam but it seems that he decided on this to earn more money for less work and to gain more wives.
In my opinion, the novel is a bit controversial about the Islamic believes that may become a key reason to raise hatred in one heart about religion without understanding the background thereof. The novel might interest you if you like politics and religion-based literature. However, I rate it as 7 out of 10 because of the contemporary storyline. I probably may not read this publication again because it’s an interesting book for someone who enjoys politically based novels.
