The second book of the Doctor Who series starts after Timewyrm escapes from the trap designed by the doctor and now plans for revenge. She aims to utilise earth against the doctor and uses a time machine to travel in the future. This is to reach the time where technology intensifies so much one can use it against the Doctor and devastate the earth. To get her plan executed, she needs a living vessel and, she finds it in the form of a madman. But as soon as she is about to execute, she gets trapped in the mind.
Doctor and Ace travel in time to discover Timewyrm. But they notice there is a difference as Nazis won World War II. Doctor and Ace got arrested because they overheard a Nazi informant. TARDIS also follows Timewyrm and reaches the year 1951 at the Festival of Britain in London. Doctor and Ace plan their escape in order to reach TARDIS and learn about the change in history. They successfully escaped, but they find out the British Free Corps took TARDIS.
Doctor and Ace impersonate themselves as high-rank Nazi officials to learn about the change in history, but their cover gets blown. Many interesting events take place and the Doctor and Ace return to make history as it was, while releasing Timewyrm from the mortal trap of Hitler’s mind.
